Living Coral - Pantone Colour of the Year – (Why) Should You Care?

Why does everyone now get so hyped up about Pantone’s colour of the year? A few years ago they really got it right… Desert Pink became really became popular; you may not have been aware as such, but it found its way into our clothes, home and commercial styling along with the wedding world. Last year the colour was Ultra Violet, which didn’t make as much of a splash, and we didn’t see much demand for it at Vintage Suit Hire Co. But this year, Living Coral has already been popular for a while in fashion.  Warmer and richer than standard coral colour, it verges on orange and has certainly got a lot of the wedding, interiors and fashion industry excited, in a world where the norm remains muted neutral tones.

In the world of the discerning man’s wardrobe and wedding attire, how will Living Coral be revolutionising your life?

No suit is truly complete without a tie and pocket square, and we are loving this Raspberry some (ok so not quite Living Coral) combo available to buy here link. Perfect with either The Southwold or Harrogate suits. Just enough of a pop of fiesta colour without going fully orange.

Our Grooms love to go a bit wild with their socks, and as long as they don’t have holes we certainly aren’t judging so we think it would work pretty well with the Burford and Harrogate tweed suits to show a little personality and match in with a colour scheme.
