GDPR POLICY

Your privacy and how we look after it

Here at The Vintage Suit Hire Company, we take your privacy very seriously. We are aware that it can be rather nerve wracking sharing your details with others so we treat your information the same we way would want our own private information treated.

In May 2018, new GDPR rules and regulations are being introduced to protect your personal details further than ever before, and we comply with these rules.

Here is our privacy statement:

In line with GDPR regulations we will continue to store all client data in cloud-based storage, where data is more secure. This means any paper documentation we have held with your details will go into a lockable storage unit and will only ever be accessed by the management team if we need your past history. By storing client data online it also means we can keep you details up to date much more.

When booking an appointment online, we use Appointedd, who have their own GDPR compliance rules in place.

Website Cookies:

When you visit our website (www.vintagesuithire.co.uk) we will collect cookies, these will help us see what you are looking at in order for us to provide more useful information similar to that. Your personal details as such aren’t stored but we will be able to view statistics related to town/city location and number of times a page is visited.

 Google Analytics:

When someone visits www.vintagesuithire.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not permit Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Personal Details

We collect personal contact and sizing information pertinent to us being able to offer you a suit purchase and hire offering. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to allow you to manage your own bookings and payments, to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. We never have and we never will.

Obtaining your Personal Information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to info@vintagesuithire.co.uk
